As part of the rehabilitation project for the Prés aux Bois community center, led by the City of Versailles, Quai 36 invited the artist Fikos to create a permanent 130 m² mural.
The Greek artist draws his influences from Byzantine tradition, which he subsequently interweaves with the codes of contemporary art. He drew inspiration from the life, audiences, and activities that characterize the community center. He depicts a woman and her child, symbols of the family that resonates in each of us, and thereby pays tribute to the families who frequent it, allowing them to appropriate the work.
