The farewell to the old dinkum dunnies with the connection of sewage to the town in 1982. A dunny-themed festival was held which spread news internationally with plentiful toilet humour. The painting depicts the last event during sunset when the last dunny was set alight.

Along the side of the RSL are many small artworks which have a common theme of war, including conscription posters and other propaganda.
