Satay Club

Description

An artwork at the front of Hotel NuVe, which was first completed to the left. This artwork depicts a man grilling Satay sticks and diners enjoying their satays with gravy, onions and ketupat (rice dumplings), highlighting the heritage of satay stalls which used be found throughout Hoi How Street. This scene was common along Beach Road between 1940 to 1970.
