The mural on Rue Pierre Timbaud in Laon depicts stylised running figures in vivid colours, their bodies constructed from geometric shapes.

The work was created in July 2023 by Hugo Soriso, an artist from Laon. It was produced in connection with Terre de Jeux 2024, an initiative through which French municipalities highlighted their involvement in the lead-up to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The Terre de Jeux 2024 label was designed for local authorities committed to making sport a more prominent part of everyday life and encouraging more inclusive access to physical activity. Soriso's mural connects this sporting context with a distinctive geometric visual language. The stylised bodies convey speed and movement without realistically depicting specific athletes or identifying a particular sporting discipline.
