The butterfly

Spontane interventie door dit duo. De linkerkant van STS verbeeldt de mensheid die zich voorbij religie ontwikkelt en toewerkt naar een hoger bewustzijn, waarin de natuur de ultieme waarheid vormt. De figuur wijst omhoog en tevens letterlijk naar het woord 'Natuur'.

Het rechterpaneel van Klaas verbeeldt de geest die altijd in beweging is – treinstations, het stadsleven, trams...

In beide delen zijn de zon en de maan te zien, de balans in evenwicht. Onderaan bevindt zich 'De levensboom', een oeroud symbool van onze verbondenheid met de natuur.

A spontaneous intervention by this duo. The left side, by STS, depicts humanity evolving beyond religion and striving toward a higher consciousness, in which nature represents the ultimate truth. The figure points upwards and also literally towards the word 'Nature'.

The right panel, by Klaas, depicts the spirit in constant motion—train stations, city life, trams...

Both sections feature the sun and the moon, representing balance. At the bottom lies 'The Tree of Life', an ancient symbol of our connection to nature.
