This collage is part of the series “Au pied de la Lettre,” (To the letter) begun by Les Murs ont des Oreilles in the autumn of 2020.
A young woman wearing a dress with a floral pattern can be seen in the image. This visual choice underscores the double meaning of the expression “Jeune fille en fleur,” which not only refers to a girl “in bloom” entering the age of blossoming youth, but also plays on the literal presence of flowers on her dress.

At the bottom right, there is an ear with several piercings, which is the signature of the artist “Les Murs Ont des Oreilles” (“The Walls Have Ears”).
