Gentiana Punctata

2024 marks the 90th anniversary of Vitosha National Park. Vitosha is a mountain massif 🏔️ , on the outskirts of Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria 🇧🇬. Is one of the symbols of Sofia and it is renowned for its diverse ecosystems, making it a truly unique natural treasure. One of its most distinctive features is the Golden Bridges - the largest stone river in the region, that it is depicted in the mural. Among these giant stones grows a rare plant, Gentiana punctata, which is listed in Bulgaria’s Red Book of endangered species.

Many thanks to the entire team at @visionary.found, especially Niki and Mihaela for their great work, to Yoan for the dances in the heights and because without his help it would not have been possible to finish on time and to Deedee for her great professionalism and for making me feel like a real artist.

This project is implemented in collaboration with @visionary.found and with the financial support of the Municipality of Sofia, with the “Culture moves Europe 2024” programme of the European Union implemented by the “Goethe Institute” (@goetheinstitut_bulgarien) and in collaboration with the Regional Municipality of Sofia - “Triaditsa” and the Cervantes Institute of Sofia (@institutocervantessofia).
