Together with the Quellenhof-Stiftung we want to encourage older people to pick up a spray can and discover the joy of creating graffiti. The project also aims to open up new perspectives for older generations on today’s youth. Participants will have the chance to gain new experiences in public spaces—experiences they might never have imagined for themselves, or once dismissed as mere “vandalism.”

We also want to artistically celebrate the regained freedoms of older people after the pandemic. Young people from our residential and educational programs will support the seniors throughout the project, fostering relationships and interactions between generations.

Creating street art with older people is likely unique in Switzerland and could inspire others to launch similar initiatives. With this project, we hope to make a statement in Winterthur.

We also see added value for Intershop, which will be recognized as a supporter of this creative and socially engaged initiative—and is welcome to use the project for marketing purposes.
