Lamplighter

Mosaic tile in Rue des Renards (Vossenstraat) in the Marolles. The image depicts a lamplighter (allumeur de réverbères), one of the traditional trades that used to be found in the neighbourhood.

In 2011, together with the Comité Général d’Action des Marolles (CGAM), Nathalie Veit created a series of mosaics in Rue des Renards depicting old crafts and trades from the Marolles.
