Super Kevin Campbell

Description

This mural on Turstall Road, directly opposite the exit of Brixton Underground Station, pays tribute to the late footballer Kevin Campbell, who was born in Brixton. With this artwork, the artist, Itaewon (Jake Attewel), celebrates Campbell’s football career at clubs such as Arsenal and Everton.

Following Campbells death, the Kevin Campbell Foundation was established to carry his legacy forward, creating opportunities for children and young people through sport, mentoring and community initiatives.

Alongside honouring Campbell’s memory, the new mural is intended to raise awareness of the Foundation’s ongoing work and the positive impact it continues to make in communities across the country.
