The artwork depicts Narcissus, so deeply in love with himself that he no longer needs his senses to connect with the outside world. In an attempt to fulfill his self-love, Narcissus tears off a piece of himself in order to taste it. Interestingly, members of the Swedish collective Wallride assisted Ekta during the creation of the mural.
