Mo Leannan

Located on the wall of Daily Coffee, 160 Garthland Drive.

The artist painted this mural about her late Granny and Grampa.

She recalled that her grandparents never had a car when they were expecting their first child, they only had a motorcycle.

When he found out she was in labour, he jumped on his motorcycle and raced to the hospital as fast as he could. The roads were icy and he took a corner too fast causing his motorcycle to slide straight into the open doors of a corner shop.

Miraculously nobody was hurt and nothing was damaged, so he picked himself back up, jumped back on his motorcycle and drove to the hospital.

Grampa loved Granny with all his heart.
