The artwork ‘Home’ was created by the renowned British illustrator and street artist Junior Tomlin. The panel forms part of a larger public art exhibition on the famous Portobello Wall in West London (located along Portobello Road, between Golborne Road and Oxford Gardens). This edition of the art installation was officially launched on 14 May 2024 (with an opening event on 15 May) in collaboration with, amongst others, The Muse Gallery and the local council (Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea). Local artists were commissioned to create artworks that reflect the culture and everyday life of this iconic neighbourhood. Tomlin’s contribution combines graffiti elements with well-known London Underground lines and place names to express his personal sense of ‘home’.
