This work is called 'Cavan's Land of Lakes' and draws inspiration from the outstanding beauty of the local area and the world-class course fishing lakes in the region.

The image features roach, tench, perch, bream and of course the magnificent pike. The blunt-leaved pondweed in the image is also commonly found in the local Lough Oughter water system. Lough Oughter itself is a complicated system including 70 interdrumlin lakes, and 14 basins in the course of the Erne River.

The Lough Oughter system is a part of the UNESCO Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark, and is a special protected area (SPA) of outstanding natural beauty.
