Def Notes' artistic career began in 2011 with his entry into the world of graffiti. He had already previously worked intensively on drawings and canvas works, inspired by manga and comic motifs, among other things. Over time, the desire to carry art beyond the frame and make it tangible in public spaces developed.
Today the focus is on large-scale wall work, which is carried out using a spray can, paint roller and brush. This versatile working method allows the artist to realize his visions on a wide variety of surfaces and to shape spaces sustainably.
His art has taken him to various countries and cities, whose cultural diversity and individual stories are incorporated into his work. Elements of realism and surrealism combine with impressions from nature and encounters with people. Despite these experiences, Def Notes understands his journey so far as only a small part of what lies ahead – with the clear goal of continuing to travel, getting to know new places and constantly developing his artistic language.
Def Notes is a contemporary artist whose work ranges between fine art and large-scale mural painting. His artistic work is characterized by an independent visual language that combines aesthetics, concept and narrative depth. This creates works that have an impact both in the exhibition space and in public spaces.
In the field of fine art, Def Notes focuses on an expressive combination of color, form and composition. The works arise from a sensitive approach to visual contrasts and structures and often address emotional, social or cultural themes. The aim is to create images that leave room for interpretation and at the same time have a clear visual presence.
Another focus is on murals and the design of public spaces. Def Notes' large-scale wall works are designed to be site-specific and deliberately blend into their surroundings. They transform urban spaces into visual experiences that seek dialogue with the viewer and have a lasting impact on the character of a place.
Def Notes understands art not only as a decorative element, but as a medium of communication. His works invite you to take a closer look, take new perspectives and experience art as a unifying force in everyday life.
