91-year-old veteran surprised as mural is unveiled with his picture and that of his wife, Diane.
Bruno Dzanski is a veteran who used to own the B&D Ice House in Southtown (located at 1004 South Alamo Street) – named after himself and his wife, Diane. The current owners wanted to find a way to honor his legacy for years to come.
Art-focused nonprofit smartsa.org and San Antonio Chicano artist Rubio banded together to create “Bruno & Diane Forever,
The mural was unveiled at a March 6 event, at which Bruno Dzanski himself made an appearance.
