Over 70 visionary artists from across the globe are set to transform more than 4000 square meters of urban arena at the "ZOMERFABRIEK" in street art district Berchem, during an electrifying weekend of live painting, culture, and community at Meeting of Styles Belgium. Guided by this year’s theme, "The Chosen Cause," the artists channel personal stories and convictions into bold visual expressions.

Antwerp-based artist Bird, active in the graffiti scene since 1992, returns to Meeting of Styles Belgium 2025 with a mural that blends technical mastery, symbolism, and his signature illustrative realism. Over three decades he has evolved into a true all‑rounder, working across 2D and 3D lettering, characters, themed walls, and large-scale productions, yet he continues to gravitate toward illustrative realism, where precision and storytelling meet.

For this year’s edition, Bird painted a crystal freedom pigeon, a fragile yet resilient symbol that reflects the spirit of the times. As he shared on Instagram: “In this troubled times we must not forget equality, the fragility of freedom, and the right of every person to live in peace.” The piece aligns with his long-standing approach to MOS: creating murals that not only fit the annual theme but also carry a social or political message, inviting viewers to pause and reflect.

Beyond the artwork itself, MOS remains for Bird a place of connection, a yearly highlight where new relationships form and potential collaborations take shape. It is a creative home base, a space to grow, exchange ideas, and contribute to a vibrant international mural community.
