SWEETUNO created a new mural titled “writing without letters” in 2022. In doing so, he set himself the challenge of maintaining the dynamism and style of classic graffiti writing without using letters. Instead, he creates abstract symbols, shapes, and sweeping lines. His work is influenced by its surroundings—such as the construction site, the sounds, and the atmosphere on location. SWEETUNO works intuitively and without a preliminary sketch, following the movements of his body. He describes this as a liberating feeling, which he compares to “free jazz on the wall.”
