Description

Completed October 2017

Found at the entrance and just inside the Green-Hudson parking garage.

https://albanycentergallery.org/back-home-sylvie-kantorovitz - The mural shows whimsical imaginary creatures marching out of the garage. In a spot where people rarely stick around, Kantorovitz, an author and illustrator of children's books, imagined what kinds of creatures would call the garage their home. Her aim was to bring a smile to visitors' faces; the piece brings imagination, whimsy, and fun to an otherwise blank space.

I love art and I love to travel. When I go to a new place my dog, Sparky, we go for lots of walks, exploring whatever city we are in. I love to take that time to hunt for street art. It's makes it fun for both of us (unless he's actually thinking I'm really annoying for stopping so much!!)
