This mural designed by Mack Colours, centres around a phoenix and stands as a symbol of "the strength, resilience and pride of the community of Dunterlie. The bell held by the phoenix is a powerful symbol of social justice and community strength in Dunterlie. It was once rung to warn residents that Police and Sheriff Officers were coming during the rent strikes, leading up to The Wraes Battle on 16th August 1939.
