This paste-up is part of the well-known street-art project "Analog Anti Emoji" by German artist Hermann Heilemann. He launched the project in 2018 as an analog counterpoint to the omnipresence of digital communication. Like in this case, the artist introduces drastic, dark elements into the otherwise flawless and friendly digital faces. This piece in Sternstraße is a variation on the classic "lovestruck" face with heart-shaped eyes.
