Tomorrow

I just came back from Mosul, Iraq where we carried out a crazy project along with the NGO Artivista and 14 students from the fine arts departments of the city’s university. We created and painted a 200m2 wall in the center of the campus. The artwork is a collaboration with the students, we shared our ideas and all of them contributed. The word written in arabic conveys the message of the whole mural: tomorrow will be more beautiful than yesterday! Mosul was the capital of ISIS for two years.. and since the city was retaken in July 2017 it is trying to rebuild itself. Now is the time to get culture, singing, painting, dancing, liberty and joy back and our 14 students are the best ambassadors for that!
