The Carpenter Street Mural by @seanpdunston
The artwork prominently features two Chinese opera singers across the facade of a 6-storey commercial building. It serves as a historical tribute to the neighborhood’s heritage; Carpenter Street was historically known in Hokkien as “hi kuan koi” (theatre street) because it housed Singapore’s very first Teochew theatre.
