Dziewczynka na flamingu (Girl on a Flamingo Swing)

The approximately 550 m² mural decorates the building of the Gajusz Foundation’s children’s hospice in Łódź, known as the “Palace.” It depicts a long-haired girl sitting on a swing shaped like a flamingo, while stars painted with special glow-in-the-dark paint illuminate the artwork after dark. Designed by Marta Zawieja, the mural gives the building a fairytale-like character and creates a welcoming, imaginative space for children. More than just a decoration, it reflects the hospice’s mission to provide a place filled with care, warmth and a sense of security.
