The mural "White Line" pays tribute to the legendary Bremen, one of the most famous passenger ships in German maritime history. Built at the AG Weser shipyard, the vessel was launched on August 16, 1928, and embarked on its maiden voyage from Bremerhaven to New York on July 16, 1929. In 1941, the Bremen was destroyed by fire.
This express liner of the Norddeutscher Lloyd shipping company won the Blue Riband in 1929 as the fastest ship on the transatlantic route between Europe and New York. The mural’s minimalist design captures the ship's silhouette, allowing the Bremen to reappear in a refined and abstract form.
