In Torun in the summer of 1969, Marek Piwowski was shooting the iconic film The Cruise on the Vistula River waterfront in Torun. Back then there was no fortified wharf in the form of Philadelphia Boulevard. In the place where the filmmakers set up then, there is now a plaque informing of this fact, and the wall reinforcing the wharf is covered with a mural with quotes from memorable dialogues.
