Description

A tiny human figure rests on a narrow ledge, standing out against the rough, pale surface of the building’s façade.

The miniature sculpture is by Isaac Cordal, a sculptor and visual artist based in Bilbao. He is particularly well known for his Cement Eclipses project, which places small human figures throughout urban environments. His work frequently combines dark humour and irony with a quiet, sometimes melancholic observation of society.

Here, the effect arises primarily from the relationship between the figure and the architecture. The man appears almost like an accidental inhabitant of the façade, easily overlooked by passers-by.

The installation is part of Cordal’s artistic presence in Laon.
