Description
The monumental painting directly on the facade of the prominent semi-circular building on Merkurstraße was created during the construction and design of the housing estate in the 1990s. Unlike Marl's famous public sculptures, the name of the specific painter or graphic artist commissioned for this astronomical design is not prominently documented in the city's official public art registries.

In 2016, I had the idea of sharing my information with other street art enthusiasts and started my blog “Streetartwalks”.
