LA MUJER Y EL CAMPO
Description
A mural created in the town square of Polvorosa de Valdavia, with the participation of over seventy volunteers, focuses on agricultural work, the historical and economic foundation of our town, and pays tribute to the role of women as an essential pillar of the countryside, the community, and collective progress. Thanks to their efforts, it has been possible to support families, keep agricultural work alive, and ultimately, drive the life of our villages. The project was subsidized by the Palencia Provincial Council through the "A HUEBRA 2025" environmental volunteer program and was the winning project of the "MY TOWN IS THE BEST" award from the Diario Palentino newspaper.

OSTERN
OSTERN is a visual and audiovisual artist born in Valladolid, Spain. He specialized in drawing and painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Bilbao (1980-1985). He pursued doctoral studies in the Department of Art History at the University of Valladolid (1988-1990). He received the 13th Blanco y Negro Prize (Madrid, 1994). He worked and exhibited with the Kreisler Gallery in Madrid (1996-2003). His most recent exhibitions have been held at the Patio Herreriano and MUVa Museums in Valladolid.
