A musician’s mural with wine, coffee, and beignets on his piano might stir some questions, but for locals, it depicts a memory of the Mahoney’s 24-Hour Café that stood there. Local artist Maddie Andrews created a beautiful new mural at the original site of the café. Hurricane Katrina left only a memory of good eats and good times at the café, but now there’s a reflection of those good days displayed on the porch of Grants for Her on Rue Magnolia.
