This mural was created to be a visual symbol of the incredible work done by the Socio-Occupational Unit (USO). The artwork embodies the metamorphosis and positive evolution that is possible in the lives of its users, thanks to the love and dedication that the Unit applies daily.
The composition focuses on a human head in profile, a subtle reference to one of the USO's logos. Inside, the brain is represented in vibrant colors, with each lobe (frontal, parietal, temporal, occipital, and cerebellum) taking on a distinct tone.
The central moment is liberation: three Monarch Butterflies emerge from the brain, symbolizing its liberation from the "cocoon." The metamorphosis is complete. As they fly, these butterflies drop ink and color, representing the creativity and new potential that now spreads throughout the world.
