Afkomstig uit Banjul, de hoofdstad van Gambia én zusterstad van Oostende. Moulaye Sarr brengt traditionele Afrikaanse patronen terug tot de essentie. Zijn werk is bovendien zonder mankeren bijzonder kleurrijk en vaak ook redelijk abstract. Al was het er de spraakmakende schilder in Oostende vooral om te doen om een bont eerbetoon aan de Afrikaanse vrouw te brengen.

From Banjul, the capital of Gambia and the sister city of Ostend. Moulaye Sarr fashions traditional African patterns back to their essence.
