Weltbaustelle Mülheim / Ruhr
Description
Weltbaustelle Mülheim is a prominent urban art mural in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany. It was created in 2016 by local Ruhr Prize winner Hardy Bock and Kenyan artist Adam Masava from Nairobi and was painted on the facade of a former women's prison. The mural is part of the statewide "Weltbaustellen NRW" (World Construction Sites) campaign by Exile e.V. to visually promote the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in public spaces.

In 2013 I started with a new hobby. In the beginning it was difficult to get reliable information how to find streetart in public space. In 2016, I had the idea of sharing my information with other street art enthusiasts and started my blog “Streetartwalks”. When I found out about this new street art community at the beginning of 2018, I was immediately on board.
