3D artists Daniela Löh and Gregor Wosik have teamed up with local artist Aktrice to create an extraordinary work that appeals to all the senses – and glows in the dark. The basic idea came from Aktrice and was further developed in a creative exchange. A radiant 3D painting was created on the façade of Aktrice's house in Obervellach, which not only transforms the wall but also opens up a whole new world. The creative heart of the Mölltal valley is revealed in impressive imagery. Each art form is given its own space, its own depth. The house wall itself thus becomes a tribute to the arts of the region – from painting (including Franz Grabmayr) to film (Hubert Sauper) and literature (Fercher von Steinwand) to music, sculpture, theatre, architecture and installation art. What makes it special is that, through the use of luminous colours, targeted lighting and the opportunity to experience the work in a new dimension with 3D glasses, the image unfolds its full effect even at dusk and at night – almost as if it were coming to life. A project that transcends boundaries: between reality and illusion, between day and night, between tradition and the future. A work of art that is not only viewed – but experienced.
