It only took 3.5 years to get this project done in my own neighbourhood When we all went into lockdown and most of my paint jobs were postponed I was staring out of my window and saw this wall that needed some love. It took some persistance to get it off the ground but due to a big help of my lovely fellow Heer Vrankestraat people it is now a fact. 

"My hood"

Here we see a portrait of a girl I photographed in Trinidad Cuba. She was sitting on the trunk of a classic cars as you can find many of them on the island. I decided to paint a child as this wall is situated in the playground. A big thanks goes out to the @gemeenterotterdam for supporting this project and a ofcourse to all my neighbours for pushing this project to a succes.
