Description

I see this arch every day from my balcony and voila on Saturday it had eyes! In Lisbon, "googly eyes" refers to the urban art trend of sticking googly eyes to objects in public spaces. This practice, also known as "eyebombing," gained popularity in the 2000s. The inspiration for the movement has been claimed by French artist Do Benracassa and developed further by unnamed Danish artists, with the Googly Eyes Foundation emerging to spread the phenomenon.
