Description

Don't Let Technology Crush You

This large-scale mural is an awareness piece that connects two pressing issues of our time: the disappearance of bees and the growing disconnection between humans and nature as a result of excessive technology use and exposure to toxic substances.

The artwork is a visual metaphor based on the contrast between two worlds. On one side is the cold, artificial digital world, represented by a background made up of binary code (0s and 1s), symbolising screens, data and the replacement of reality with a virtual experience. On the other is the natural world, full of life, with a background composed of hexagons that evoke the structure of beehives and the balance of ecosystems.

The bees symbolise biodiversity and the essential sweetness of life: without bees, there is no honey, and without honey, life loses its balance and harmony.

The mural portrays the tension between these two worlds, but also leaves room for hope: nature is still resisting and reminds us that it is never too late to reconnect with the real world, before all that remains is an artificial copy.
