The “España 82” mural in Łódź celebrates Poland’s third-place finish at the 1982 FIFA World Cup in Spain. It features seven players from Antoni Piechniczek’s national team, including Zbigniew Boniek, Józef Młynarczyk and Włodzimierz Smolarek, all associated with Widzew Łódź. The mural pays tribute not only to a golden generation of Polish footballers but also to Widzew’s important contribution to Polish football history.
