Description

On the corner of Van Brakelstraat 16 and Schiedamsesingel you’ll find this collage of photographs of cows, which appear to have been stuck onto a background with tape. Perhaps this artwork is intended as a reference to the history of this area. Until the mid-nineteenth century, when Rotterdam began to expand rapidly, this was a polder area characterised by agriculture and grazing cows.
