The mural depicts the industrial complex of Adolf Gustaw Borst, as well as a panorama of Zgierz and its industrial landscape from 100 years ago. It is a recreation of a historical engraving from around 1910, known from an old postcard. The Borst family was one of the most important industrial families in Zgierz. At the turn of the 20th century, they built their factory near the site where the mural was painted.
