Arico created this mural during her art residency.

Portalverse carries a message of love and joy that we can cultivate in our daily lives. It is inspired by two tall trees that were nearby the house where we were hosted, those trees were forming a portal and I would go there to meditate and listen to the sound of the Earth.

I painted the other side of the portal, what I was seeing entering it. A place where water and sky merge, a place of stillness and peace.
