The plant Småborre can also be seen in its natural habitat on the island of Saxholmen in the Kristinehamn archipelago. On Saxholmen, Småborre lives together with part of Kristinehamn's history, such as castle ruins from the Middle Ages, which I have chosen to highlight and create curiosity about with the painting.
