NOU is a project structured around different artistic disciplines that makes Barcelona and its residents stand out. A melting pot in Nou Barris where creativity gives shape to shared stories, redefining the space by giving it a new urban meaning.

The mural The Urban Lung by the artist Doa Oa highlights Nou Barris as one of Barcelona's great green lungs, where nature and the city coexist in balance. Inspired by Collserola Natural Park and the district's numerous green spaces, the work celebrates the ecological richness and neighborhood involvement in the sustainability of the area. Through a botanical scene depicting native species such as Silene sennenii, Borago officinalis, Malva sylvestris, and Diplotaxis erycoides, Doa Oa invites us to observe and appreciate the biodiversity that surrounds us. The mural becomes a window onto urban nature and a reminder of the vital link between people and their environment.
