Striking intervention by Bretones on the roller shutter door of a Night Club, portraying the friendship between Madrid and Mexico

The artist features his own representation of Frida Kahlo in a Catrina style, depicting a close-up portrait of a Catrina Skull, the central figure of the Mexican holiday Día de los Muertos.

In this piece Frida is represented with dark circles around the eyes, hollow nose and cheeks, line stitches across the lips, a floral crown to guide the spirits of the deceased and skull jewelry

The artist uses vibrant colors that starkly contrast against the background creating a piece typical of the Mexican Illustration Art.
