JAWGEM's work is charactirised by the interplay of light and dark. In his collage-like painting technique, he draws inspiration from three works from the Museum Bredius collection. Central to his art works is his own inerpretation of 'Flowers in a Vase'by the Hague artist Simon Verelst. Aroundit, he incorporates elements from works by Hendrick Aerts and Jan Steen.
