The artist said, "I enjoy bringing back these elements from growing up in the 70s/80s into my creative pieces. For the mural, I wanted something that was compact but also allowed for Albany to be represented in different ways. Just for fun, I added a picture of my dog, Sparky, with the dog statue that sits in front of this mural.

I love art and I love to travel. When I go to a new place my dog, Sparky, we go for lots of walks, exploring whatever city we are in. I love to take that time to hunt for street art. It's makes it fun for both of us (unless he's actually thinking I'm really annoying for stopping so much!!)
