Œuvre réalisée pour le festival Just Do Paint à Saint-Brieuc, en 2020.

L'œuvre représente le portrait d'un vieux pêcheur au caractère bien trempé, arborant une barbe imposante et un chapeau de marin traditionnel. Elle est réalisée dans le style hyperréaliste caractéristique de l'artiste Papy (membre éminent du célèbre collectif TSF Crew). Les détails du visage du pêcheur symbolisent la dure vie en mer, l'identité bretonne et le lien étroit qui unit historiquement la région à la pêche.

Artwork created for Just Do Paint festival in Saint-Brieuc, july 2020.

The work depicts the portrait of an elderly fisherman with a strong character, sporting an imposing beard and a traditional sailor’s hat. It is executed in the hyperrealist style characteristic of the artist Papy (a prominent member of the famous TSF Crew collective). The details of the fisherman’s face symbolise the harsh life at sea, Breton identity and the close historical link between the region and fishing.

"Ur Pesketaer Kozh" means "An old fisherman".
