A monumental 12‑metre street‑art mural by Giulio Rosk, San Sebastiano: la tenacia della bellezza, transforms the façade of a residential palazzo in Melilli. Departing from the traditional bound figure, the saint stands with free arms in a powerful gesture of resistance and dignity. Stylised arrows pierce his body; blood becomes vivid paint; adjacent Roman soldiers echo Mantegna’s Renaissance iconography, reinterpreted through metallic reflections, pop‑graphic halos, and a contemporary urban language. Commissioned by the Comune di Melilli and curated by Badia Lost & Found, the work aims to engage new generations in cultural heritage, devotion, and local identity through a striking visual narrative and participatory street‑art dialogue.
