Description
This mural is inspired by the comic book ‘Footsteps on the Moon’ (original French title: On a marché sur la Lune), which was originally published in 1953. It is part of the TinTin series by Belgian cartoonist Hergé. While the iconic rocket is still on the moon in the original, here it is already flying into orbit to take the artist Norbert3000 to the next planet.

Sven Niemann is a PhD student at the Institute for German Studies and Comparative Literature at the University of Paderborn. His research interests are political graffiti, protest language and forms of minimal writing in public space. Since 2014 he has been leading public graffiti tours for the tourist information office in Paderborn. As a team member of the Secret City Fassadenfestival, he promotes the visibility of urban art in his adopted home of Paderborn.
