RoadSTAR: A Bleak Future? Or A Bright Future?

This educational community mural focuses on sustainable travel and road safety. The artwork is split cleanly down the center to juxtapose two contrasting environmental paths for the local area:

• The Left Side ("A Bleak Future?"):

  Depicts an urban space dominated by heavy, congested vehicular traffic, dark overpasses, and grey, gridlocked streets.

• The Right Side ("Or A Bright Future?"):

  Visualizes a vibrant, green alternative featuring dedicated active travel paths, public bus lanes, lush landscaping, cyclists, and sustainable infrastructure.

According to the plaque on the bottom right, the artwork was created as part of the Kingston Council's RoadSTARS school initiative to engage young people in envisioning eco-friendly transport options.
